It will be interesting experience of creating tutorial for making steampunk like decorations. The general approach. I use mostly durable materials for all creations, so the way the parts are connected is usually quite strong and solid. Another important point - I prefer to make things in the way they can be modified and easily repaired. So no glue, only screws or wire connections. Few base "platoon" caps are bought. Tomorrow will start crafting first decorations : )

So, on all your hats, you claim you don't use any glue or welding. How do you connect the pieces then? I'm seriously curious so I can use the technique on my own costume
